Personal Training That Fits Your Life

Strength. Fitness. Confidence. And a body that can actually do cool stuff.

You don't need another generic workout plan.

You need someone who understands you—your goals, your history, your schedule, and what actually keeps you motivated—and can help you build a plan that works in real life. You don’t need chatgpt or claude to tell you what to do. Stupid robots.

That's what I do.

I'm Mike Goose, a CSCS and personal trainer based in Salt Lake City. I work with people who want to get stronger, move better, feel better, and become more capable.

I might be a good fit if...

  • You've been active before but life, injuries, or work have knocked you off track.

  • You're coming back from an injury or working alongside a physical therapist.

  • You want to get stronger without beating yourself up.

  • You want to train for something—running, hiking, skiing, sports, or just creating a life well lived through physical experiences.

  • You're tired of generic workouts and want someone who actually pays attention to you.

  • You want accountability without someone yelling at you.

  • You're already relatively fit and want to see what your body is capable of.

  • You're starting from scratch and want someone to help you figure out where to begin.

And you should probably enjoy laughing while you’re at it.

What working with me looks like

We don't just show up and do random exercises.

I get to know you first.

Then we build a training plan around your goals, your body, your equipment, your schedule, and your life.

From there, I coach you, adjust the plan, keep you accountable, and help you figure out what to do when life starts yelling at you.

Depending on what you need, we can work together:

In person
Personal training at your home or another convenient location.

Hybrid
Regular in-person training combined with individualized programming and coaching between sessions.

Remote
Personalized programming, video coaching, progress tracking, and regular check-ins—without me needing to be in the room.

The goal isn't simply to make you tired.

The goal is to make you better.

What makes this different?

I've been doing this for a long time, and I've learned that the most important part of training isn't finding the perfect exercise.

It's the relationship.

You need someone who listens, pays attention, remembers the stuff we all deal with day to day, notices when something isn't working, and knows when to push.

That's the kind of coach I try to be. I can confidently express I am the coach I wish I had. I’m sort of my own hero. And that’s pretty rad, I get to share my debauchery, with you.

My clients have trained for marathons, Spartan races, hiking adventures, sports, recovery, and plenty of goals that started with something as simple as:

"I just want to feel like myself again."

Sometimes the goal is much simpler:

"I want to be strong enough to do whatever the hell I want to do."

I'm good with that too.

Based in Salt Lake City

I primarily work with clients in:

Holladay • Cottonwood Heights • Sandy • Salt Lake City • nearby areas

I also work with clients remotely throughout the U.S.

Ready to see if we're a good fit?

You don't need to commit to anything.

Let's have a conversation about where you are, what you want to accomplish, and whether I can help.

Start with a quick conversation.

A note from the person who sent you here

If someone you trust sent you this page, there's a good chance they already know what I bring to the table.

I don't take that lightly.

My business has grown almost entirely through relationships and referrals, and that's exactly how I want it to grow. Through my people.

So if you're here because someone said, "You should talk to Mike," , I’m sorry but that’s them saying you’re not yet too far gone.

Just kidding. I'd love to hear from you. And I’m probably looking forward to getting know you because your friend/family member has already had a huge impact on me.
